Cap Ex Advisory Group is serving as the Owner’s Representative for the expansion of the Sri Bhaktha Anjaneya Temple in Ijamsville, Maryland. The project involves the development of a new 45,000 to 50,000-square-foot temple, including worship space, shrines for various deities, and communal gathering areas. Cap Ex is currently providing pre-construction oversight during the programming and design phases, coordinating efforts between the U.S.-based architects, Arium AE, LLC, and a specialty design team from India tasked with integrating traditional Hindu temple characteristics into the building’s design.
Cap Ex’s scope includes the solicitation and onboarding of a Construction Manager for the project, oversight of design activities, managing consultant relationships, and refining the project budget, ensuring the temple’s expansion aligns with the community’s needs while meeting the client’s budget and needs. As the project advances into construction, Cap Ex will coordinate the delivery of a 36-foot granite statue hand-carved by artisans in India and weighing more than 200,000 pounds.
